Selflessness

When I,
on a gray
and rainy

morn,

prepare me
a cup
of wakeful

coffee,

bully for me,

but,

if I
brew
a full pot

for company,

better still—

the effort
being equal,
but oh,

the intent,

a gulf
of sharing

bridged.
